The peg slider has been a staple of all of our sets since MURO first launched in 2017 and it hasn’t changed since our original prototype!
But don’t let the humble appearance of this toy fool you into thinking it is anything other than an educational powerhouse.
As children move the pegs around the course they are exercising their pincer grip, learning how to coordinate small and large movements, and they are learning how to navigate space. These are all important skills they need to practise for effective handling of tools, including pencils for writing!
If that wasn’t enough there’s a problem solving challenge and colour matching as they navigate the pegs around the maze to their matching coloured home!
