Helping Hands
We were shocked when we found out that for the first time ever recorded, the number of children arriving in school at 5 years old without the necessary skills to hold a pen is on the rise. This academic disadvantage can be hard to come back from and has been linked to the rise of touch screens in infants lives.
At MURO we believe that designing modern, tactile wooden products can help to redress the balance between traditional and technology, encouraging children to explore their physical world and develop the required skills before they get to the classroom.
